Membership Application and Dividend

I, the applicant, being 16 years of age or more, hereby apply for one share of value £1.00 in the East of England Co-operative Society Limited in respect of which I make payment required by the rules of the Society and otherwise agree to be boundy thereby. I confirm that the details I have provided are correct.

Membership Data Protection

The personal data you provide to the Society will be used for the purposes of administration, statistical and bsuiness analysis and marketing for Society use only and for no other purpose.

Tree to Remember

The personal data you provide to through the Tree to Remember website, including images and the contents of any Memories/messages uploaded, will be used for the purposes of administration, statistical and business analysis and marketing for the East of England Co-op.

Participants must not upload any material that might be reasonably considered to be obscene, offensive, defamatory or otherwise objectionable. All submissions are reviewed before publishing. The East of England Co-op reserve the right to remove submissions at their discretion.

By registering for Tree to Remember you will provide us with certain up to date data about yourself, which we will handle in accordance with the United Kingdom's Data Protection legislation. Data may be hosted or transferred outside of this jurisdiction.

We require all our staff, and whenever we hire third parties to provide support services, to observe our privacy standards and to allow us to audit them for compliance.

Tree to Remember SMS Donations

The East of England Co-operative, any of the hospices, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or with any other problem with any system, server, and provider or otherwise which may result in donations not being properly received.

All privacy policies, including those of Cymba, form part of these terms and conditions, and by continuing to use the website, you agree to these terms and conditions and thus also agree to all privacy policies.

You can support all the hospices nominated by texting the word TREE1 to 70800. Your support will result in a £1 donation for each text message that you send.

You can support all the hospices nominated by texting the word TREE5 to 70800. Your support will result in a £5 donation for each text message that you send.

The mobile networks operators below have waived their charges in order to allow the full cost of the bounce-back message to go entirely to support the nominated hospices.

  • * O2 charge a transmission fee of 3.1p per donation message.

Please ensure you spell the keyword TREE1 or TREE5 carefully and send your text message to the correct short code 70800.

If your keyword and short code are valid, and your text message is received within the specified times and dates, you will be charged either £1 or £5 via a bounce-back message. With the exception of Vodafone customers who will be charged directly via their bill. It may take some time for you to receive a bounce-back message. Please wait until you receive it. Any repeat texts will result in repeat donations.

The East of England Co-operative, any of the hospices and Cymba Integrated Solutions Limited and their subcontractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or with any other problem with any telephone network or line, system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any text being lost or not properly received.

Donations will be split equally between charities nominated by the East of England Co-op

If your keyword or short code are invalid, or your text message is received outside of the specified dates, you may not receive a bounce back but may still be charged your standard network message charge. You will not be charged the donation fee as you will not be donating to the nominated hospices.

All supporters must obtain permission from the bill payer before sending a text message. If you are under 16 years old, you must have your parent or guardian's permission to send a text donation to us.
