Mark is a Chartered Surveyor (FRICS) with over 40 years’ experience in the property industry, predominantly in East Anglia and currently working as a Consultant to Fenn Wright LLP. He has been a non-executive director on the boards of Suffolk Building Society, where he was also chairman, Flagship Housing Association, Notcutts Garden Centres and CIFCO Capital Ltd. He is also a trustee of The Frank Jackson Foundation. 

Mark has lived in Suffolk near Framlingham for the past 35 years and is married to his wife Liz. They have three children and four grandchildren. Mark loves the outdoors and is a keen rower, runner and walker and enjoys extensive community involvement at many levels.
